The Dark Lord Day 2010 golden tickets are purchased! Happy St. Patricks Day Indeed! I almost lost hope. Kyle called the bat phone at 8:05 with the heads-up. The site was being brought to it’s knees. About 50% of the time I could get to “the add to cart” then only to be shot down with an error page. About 40 minutes in I refreshed my phone and was able to get to the next screen. I jumped to a laptop and completed the transaction. Score! still feeling a bit giddy. Kyle called me on the way home with an update. To my shagrin the tickets sold out in 55 minutes! I’m glad I don’t have to be up until 3 am hitting F5 or at 3 AM for that matter (thanks Kyle) Congrats 3 Floyds for the slick marketing campaign and the double trending topic. Maybe next year we can scrounge up some duct tape for the web servers. April 24th is coming!
